June 10-11 in Athens, GA at the air conditioned UGA Livestock Arena

The camp will be lead by Mr. Vince McGolden and his son Chase. Vince is a nationally known livestock producer, judge, and show camp instructor. Chase is a champion lamb exhibitor, so he can relate to what the exhibitor is dealing with on a personal level. They live in Fairview, OK where they produce some of the best club lambs in the nation. They have exhibited Purple Banner Champions for over a decade.

Topics include: selection, feeding, health, fungus prevention, training the lamb, training the exhibitor, clipping, & show time prep.

Meals: Two snacks and a lunch are provided each day. A Pizza dinner will be served on the first night.

Camp Cost: $135 for 1st exhibitor, $75 for each sibling. This includes a T-shirt. A parent/adult chaperone must attend with the exhibitor.

Things to bring:
Halter broken lambs (2 is best so that lambs can be rotated for rest)
Shavings (pens are 50-70 sq. ft.) probably 2 bundles are needed
Clippers with sharp blades Feed, hay, and water bucket
Soap and fungus control Fans and extension cords
Towels, blankets, etc. Your favorite show supplies
Wash rack clothes Work clothes with comfortable shoes
Show clothes for a showmanship contest at the end of camp
Bring a pen/pencil and note book; prepare to ask questions and take notes.

From the 2010 camp participants, there were at least 11 showmanship buckles
won by 8 different exhibitors and several Grand and Reserve Champions of
shows including the GA National Fair Grand Champion and Reserve Champion. Congratulations to all of the 2010 Master Lamb Camp exhibitors. Keep me
